OMAHA, Neb. - After the Omaha Storm Chasers (43-52) rallied for five runs in the eighth to tie the game 6-6, Manny Ramirez launched a two-out solo homer to lift the Round Rock Express (53-43) to a 7-6 win. The loss snaps the Storm Chasers nine-game winning streak against the Express at Werner Park, the longest streak against any PCL opponent at the stadium.

Ramirez entered the game with three hits in his first 16 at-bats for Round Rock, but the veteran slugger notched three hits on the night including the game-winning mammoth blast to leftfield. Two of his six hits for the Express this season have been long balls, after Ramirez did not record a homer in 17 games for the Sacramento River Cats last season.

The Storm Chasers trailed 6-1 after seven innings in the books after the Express racked up six runs off two Omaha pitchers making their Triple-A debut, right-handers Sam Runion and Santiago Garrido, but an improbable five-run rally in the eighth tied the game with the Chasers batting around in the frame. The Storm Chasers scored those runs despite only two balls leaving the infield, one of which was the game-tying two-out, two-run single by second baseman Chris Getz who has eight RBI in his 12 games with Omaha this season.

Right-hander Michael Mariot made his first career Triple-A start in the game, tossing two innings allowing only one hit. Paulo Orlando drove in two runs in the game, and has a team-leading 11 RBI this month of his 24 total RBI on the season, while Anthony Seratelli swiped his team-leading 17th stolen base of the season and has the most in the Pacific Coast League without one caught stealing.

The Storm Chasers will look to rebound after the roller coaster ride of a loss as they send out left-hander Justin Marks (3-9, 5.97 ERA), who has allowed only three runs in his last two starts totaling 14.1 innings while fanning 15 batters in back-to-back wins. Marks will face off with fellow southpaw Brad Mills (7-4, 3.98 ERA) with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
