Goals:

- Chase De Leo scores on a wrist shot past Marlies goaltender Garret Sparks just :47 into the game.

- Kasperi Kapanen scores past Eric Comrie after a scramble out front while on the powerplay at 10:11 of the first period.

- Viktor Loov scores from the point past a screened Comrie at 16:18 of the first period.

- Toronto's Connor Brown scores on a one-timer while on the powerplay :20 into the second period.

- Austen Brassard responds quickly as his wrist shot from the circle that beats Sparks blocker side at 1:13 of the second period.

- JC Lipon feeds John Albert out front who fires it in at 16:24 of the second period.

- Chase De Leo grabs the puck during a scramble in front and wrists it to the back of the net at 2:21 of the third period.

- Marlies forward Nikita Soshnikov tips in a cross-ice pass out front while on the powerplay at 9:48 of the third period.

- JC Lipon scores during a scramble in front of the Marlies net while on the powerplay at 14:35 of the third period.

- Josh Leivo sends a cross ice back hand pass to an open William Nylander who ties the game at 16:07 of the third period.

- Nic Petan scores with just :50 seconds remaining in overtime off a cross-ice pass from JC Lipon.

Highlights/Notes:

- The Moose handed the first place Marlies just their fifth loss (regulation or overtime/shootout) on the road this season (22-3-2-0). This was Manitoba's first win over the Marlies this season. They will not face each other again in the regular season.

- JC Lipon had a career high five points (1G, 4A) in the game. It was the eighth five-point game in franchise history and first since Mason Raymond (3G, 2A) on Nov. 21, 2007.

- Brendon Kitchton recorded his 100th career AHL point (22G, 78A) on an assist on Austen Brassard's second period goal.

- Chase De Leo scored two goals this game. He now has recorded three multi-goal games this season. He leads the Moose in scoring with 26 points (13G, 13A). He is tied for 15th in AHL rookie scoring.

- Nic Petan scored a goal for the second straight game. He has at least one point in six of his last seven games and has scored three goals and four assists during that stretch.

- Eric Comrie picked up his tenth win of the season making 38 saves. It is the eighth time this season Comrie has made 35+ saves in a game this year.

- The Moose had six players record a multi-point game - JC Lipon (1G, 4A), Chase De Leo (2G, 0A), Austen Brassard (1G, 1A), Josh Morrissey (0G, 2A), Patrice Cormier (0G, 2A) and Matt Fraser (0G, 2A).

- The Moose won their second overtime game at home this season.

- Manitoba's six goals were the most they have scored in a game this season.

- The Moose improved their record at home in one goal game's to 6-1-1-2.

The Manitoba Moose play the Texas Stars at the MTS Centre on Tuesday, Feb. 9. Puck drop is at 7 p.m.
