B-Sens Gameday Preview

February 6, 2016 - American Hockey League (AHL) - Binghamton Senators News Release

Binghamton hosts the Rochester Americans tonight in their DIFD Power to the Purple Night. This will be the seventh of ten total meetings this regular season between the division rivals with the B-Sens record against them 2-4-0-0.

THREE KEYS TO SUCCESS:

1. KEEP THE STREAKS GOING

Kyle Flanagan and Cole Schneider both currently hold point streaks heading into tonight's game against the Amerks. Flanagan extended his streak last night against the Hershey Bears when he scored a goal with less than a minute left to play pushing his record to two goals and two assists over three games played. Schneider picked up an assist on Nick Paul's goal in the third period last night to compile three goals and four assists over five games played.

2. WELCOME BACK MAX

Ottawa reassigned one of the Binghamton Senators' fan favorite, Max McCormick, prior to last night's game versus Hershey. McCormick picked up an assist in his first game back and has a good history against Rochester as he tallied a goal and an assist in the B-Sens' last trip to Rochester back on January 29.

3. POWERFUL NIGHT, POWERFUL CROWD

DIFD Power to the Purple Night hits Coach Luke Richardson and the B-Sens team as a family. Luke and his wife Stephanie have turned the tragic loss of their daughter Daron into an initiative that is spreading fast and is one the home fans have really rallied around year after year; the atmosphere tonight will put the pressure on the Amerks. Fans are reminded to WEAR PURPLE tonight, as it was Daron's favorite color. For more information about DIFD click here.
