Climbing

The Mallards went 2-0-1 in Brampton last weekend. By earning five of six available points from those three meetings with the Beast the Mallards moved into a tie for first place in the ECHL's Central Division with Rapid City and Tulsa.

More of the Same

The Mallards return to Brampton to conclude a stretch of five straight games against the Beast by hitting the ice at the Powerade Center Friday night and Sunday.

Centralized

The Mallards have gone 4-1-1 against Central Division opponents this season.

On the Road

The Mallards are unbeaten in regulation- 3-0-1- on the road this season.

Hot Shots

The Mallards matched an ECHL season high by taking 50 shots yesterday. The Mallards set club season highs in successive games by allowing 45 Brampton shots last Friday and 49 yesterday.

Red Light District

The Mallards also set clubs season highs for goals in consecutive games- last Thursday's 5-1 win and last Friday's 7-2 victory. The Mallards are now tied for seventh in the ECHL in goals per game (3.6). The Mallards have allowed three or fewer non-shootout goals in seven of their first eight outings and are tied for eighth in the league in goals against per game (2.8).

Head to Head

The Mallards have started their 15-game season series with the Beast 2-0-1. All-time the Mallards have gone 9-3-4 against the Beast and 6-1-2 in Brampton. Jeff Lee has collected 18 points (eight goals and ten assists) in 16 career games against the Beast.

Special Teams

The Mallards went 2-for-5 on the power play over their three games in Brampton. Matt Duffy scored on the man advantage last Thursday and again last Friday. The Mallards rank thirteenth in the ECHL in power play efficiency (19.0 percent). The Mallards allowed only one goal on 14 Beast power plays during those three games and have climbed to eleventh in the league (84.8 percent) in penalty killing.

Foxy

Justin Fox is in the midst of a team season best six-game point scoring streak (3-5-7). Fox has posted a plus/minus rating of +8 during that streak.

Dynamic Duo

Lee and Joe Perry piled up six points (three goals and three assists) apeice in the Mallards' wins last Thursday and Friday and have both produced seven points seven points (four goals and three assists for Perry; three goals and four assists for Lee) in their last four games.

Helping Hand

Pearce Eviston (0-8-8) has picked up six assists in his last five games and is tied for eighth in the ECHL in assists.

Multiplicity

Mario Lamoureux enjoyed three straight multiple point games (3-4-7) before going pointless yesterday.

Between the Pipes

Parker Milner and Evan Mosher set Mallard single game season highs for saves in successive contests last weekend. Milner stopped 43 Brampton shots last Friday. Mosher made 45 saves yesterday. Mallard coach Terry Ruskowski has rotated Milner and Mosher each game this season.

Century

Last Friday night's win was Ruskowski's one hundredth as an ECHL coach. He has guided the Mallards to four victories this season after going 96-80-20 with the Columbus Chill from 1991 through 1994.

Ins and Outs

Defenseman Nicholas Rioux returned to the Mallards last Friday after three games with the AHL's Iowa Wild...Forward Kevin Baker was activated from the Mallards reserve list last Tuesday while forward Antti Pusa was placed on the reserve list.

Fans can purchase four tickets to each Mallards Wednesday home game for just $20. In addition, after each Wednesday home contest, fans can join the Mallards at T.G.I. Friday's on River Drive in Moline- adjacent to the iWireless Center- for a postgame party.

Fans again this season will enjoy $1 hot dogs and beers from iWireless Center concession stands during all Friday home games. 97X will follow in the spirit of the evening by presenting hot dog-themed intermission entertainment.

Saturday, November 22, 7:05 p.m.- Mallards vs. Rapid City Rush

Lighting on the Commons

Fans who attend Lighting on the Commons on John Deere Commons just before the Mallards' game against the Rush will receive a free youth ticket with the purchase of an adult ticket to that Mallards tilt.

ON THE AIR

Fox Sports Radio 1230 is the radio home of Mallards Hockey Presented by Genesis Power Sports Performance. Mallards games broadcast on AM 1230 also stream live online at www.wfxn.net . A limited number of Mallards games- including the Mallards' games Friday and Sunday in Brampton- will not air on Fox Sports Radio 1230 due to conflicts with University of Illinois basketball and football and Green Bay Packer football. ECHL-TV pay-per-view video webcasts and free audio webcasts of all Mallards games are also available at myqcmallards.net.

Single game tickets are also available at the iWireless Center box office, at Ticketmaster outlets, through www.ticketmaster.com or through Ticketmaster charge-by-phone toll free. The box office is open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and on game days from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the second period.
