Cincinnati Cyclones News Release
THIS PAST WEEK:
About Friday Night vs. Indy: Byron Froese's shorthanded strike in the third period proved to be the game-winner as the Cyclones defeated the Fuel by a 3-1 final score in front of 3,037 at U.S. Bank Arena. Rob Madore needed to make just 16 saves to earn his second win of the season.
About Saturday Night vs. Wheeling: An early third period goal by David Gilbert helped the Wheeling Nailers narrowly defeat the Cyclones by a 4-3 final score in front of 5,062 at U.S. Bank Arena. Byron Froese netted two assists and registered seven shots on net despite the defeat.
About Sunday Night in Toledo: Toledo's Joel Chouinard netted the game-ending goal in the 13th round of the shootout to give the Walleye a 4-3 victory over the Cyclones in front of 4,088 at the Huntington Center. It was the longest shootout in club history for both the Cyclones and the Walleye.
THIS WEEK'S GAME SCHEDULE:
Thursday, November 13 vs. Orlando, 7:30pm ET
$1 Beers / Dumb and Dumber Night
Saturday, November 15 vs. Fort Wayne, 7:30pm ET

SHOTS FROM THE POINT:
Back Home For Two: The Cyclones will play a pair of home games this week at U.S. Bank Arena featuring some exciting match-ups and promotions. This Thursday, the Cyclones meet the Orlando Solar Bears for the first time since last spring's Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. The tilt will feature $1 beers for fans 21 and up, plus, we'll be paying homage to the 1990's comedy classic "Dumb and Dumber." Then, on Saturday night, Cincy will harness the power of "The Force" for Star Wars Night - featuring character appearances and specialty jerseys that will get auctioned off after the game.
Record Setters: On Sunday night in Toledo, the Cyclones and Walleye set their respective club records for the longest shootout in club history - a 13-round marathon that saw Toledo claim victory. The Cyclones were 11-8 last season when playing beyond 60 minutes and are 0-1 in 2014-15.
Froese on Fire: Cyclones forward Byron Froese has been on a tear of late. The former Chicago Blackhawks draft pick has collected points in five straight games and is the active leader in points (7) on Cincinnati's roster.
Cyclones Family Fun Night TOMORROW NIGHT: Join us for another Cyclones Family Fun Night TOMORROW NIGHT at Western Bowl (6383 Glenway Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45211) from 7-8pm! Challenge some of your favorite Cyclones players to a bowling battle and take home some great prizes in the process! Special Cyclones pricing features $2.00 per game pricing (which includes shoes).
