Wednesday, Nov. 5 vs. Elmira L 3-2

After Brayden Irwin scored to put Elmira up 1-0, the Evansville IceMen, presented by Coors Light, answered. Myles Bell and Patrick Kennedy lit the lamp to put the IceMen up 2-1 in the first. Before the period ended, Elmira answered when Allen McPherson scored on a deflection to tie it at two.

On the power play for the third time in the second period, former IceMen forward Mike Seidel lit the lamp against his former team, when he put in a rebound to give the Jackals a 3-2 lead. Elmira was able to hang on for the win.

Friday, Nov. 7 vs. Wheeling W 6-3

After falling behind 1-0 in the first period, the Evansville IceMen lit the lamp three times before the end of the first frame to take a 3-1 lead. Peter Sakaris tied the game by deflecting a Troy Rutkowski shot into the net. Patrick Kennedy found Myles Bell on a 2-on-1 breakaway to put Evansville up 2-1. Then with less than a minute left in the first, Matt Lowry made a backhanded pass from behind the net that found a hard charging Kevin Harvey who scored his second of the year.

In the second period, Kale Kerbashian netted his fourth of the season when he put in the rebound off a Brandon Wong shot.

Bell torched the Wheeling defense for two more goals and the IceMen rode the strength of Bell's hat trick to win 6-3.

Saturday Nov. 8 at Toledo L 5-0

Toledo's line of Troy Schwab, Tyler Barnes, and Marek Tvrdon all had a goal and two assists and the Walleye defense allowed just 14 IceMen shots. Jeff Lerg stopped all of the `4 pucks he saw as Toledo sent Evansville back home with a 5-0 loss.

This Week's Games (Tuesday Nov. 11 vs. Orlando 7:15 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14 at Elmira 6:05 p.m. & Saturday Nov. 15 at Elmira 6:05 p.m.)

The IceMen return to Evansville Tuesday night, Nov. 11, as they host the Orlando Solar Bears on Veteran's Day. It will be Military Appreciation Night at the Ford Center. All armed forces personnel active or retired will receive a free ticket to the game with military ID.

Evansville will complete yet another three game week as they travel to Elmira for their first multi-game road trip on Friday and Saturday. The IceMen will seek their first road win at the Jackals expense.

Team Notes

Myles Bell ranks second among rookies with six goals. Bell ranks fifth overall in tallies this season.The Calgary native is just one of nine players with a hat trick this season. The IceMen rank 4th in the ECHL in attendance with a 6,440 fan average.

Former IceMen Goaltender, Cal Heeter signed a deal to play in the KHL for Medvescak Zagreb. Heeter posted a record of 3-1, while stopping 92.2 percent of the shots he faced. Heeter leaves Evansville with a Goals Against Average of 2.24.
