GRAND CHUTE, Wis.- Joe Mack paced a 13-hit attack and the Beloit Sky Carp stayed hot Saturday night with a 5-3 win over the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.

It was the Sky Carp's third straight win, and the team's seventh in its last nine games as they remained atop the Midwest League West Division Standings.

Mack was the offensive ringleader, going 4-for-5 with a double. Cam Barstad opened the scoring with an RBI single in the second inning, then drew a bases-loaded walk in the fourth inning to make it 2-0.

Davis Bradshaw's RBI single in the fifth made it 3-0. Wisconsin fought back with single runs in the fifth and sixth innings before Jacob Berry scored on a wild pitch in the seventh to give Beloit a 4-2 lead. Barstad struck again, this time on a sacrifice fly, to extend the advantage to 5-2.

Chandler Jozwiak closed out the game with two scoreless innings as he remained perfect in eight save opportunities on the season. Karson Milbrandt got the start for Beloit and threw four scoreless innings.

The Sky Carp will go for the series win over the Timber Rattlers Sunday at 1:10 p.m. The team will then go on the all-star break, with the next home game taking place Friday at 6:35 p.m. against Cedar Rapids.

The Beloit Sky Carp are the High-A Affiliate of the Miami Marlins and play their games at ABC Supply Stadium -- the heart of the Riverbend District.
