Lunden Takes Third Trip to AHL

Las Vegas - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that left wing Josh Lunden has been called up to the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League. This will be the third trip to the AHL for Lunden this season.

Lunden, 26, previously appeared in one game for the Peoria Rivermen in January and two games for the St. John's IceCaps in early February. The 6'2'', 202-pound left wing has collected 40 points (20 goals, 20 assists) and 55 penalty minutes in 41 Wranglers games this season. Wranglers goaltender Joe Fallon, who leads the ECHL with 30 wins and 2,739 minutes played, was called up to the Aeros on Saturday, March 3.

Currently one point apart in the Western conference standings, the Wranglers continue their nine-game road series against the Ontario Reign next weekend to maintain their lead of 79 points to Ontario's 78. When the team returns home on Sunday, March 18, Wranglers players will shave their heads on the ice to raise funds and awareness for St. Baldrick's Foundation.
