Foreman Acquired from Utah in Exchange for Burrows

The Gwinnett Gladiators have traded defenseman Josh Burrows to the Utah Grizzlies in exchange for forward Jordan Foreman.

Foreman earned three points, all assists, in 10 games this season with Utah. He was acquired by the Grizzlies from the Stockton Thunder on January 23rd in exchange for Matt Reber. With Stockton, he tallied 14 points (five goals, nine assists) in 30 games.

The Cambridge, Ontario native earned 25 points (10 goals, 15 assists) in 40 games with Stockton last year. He had 116 penalty minutes and recorded a +6 plus/minus ranking with the Thunder.

The 5-foot-10, 195-pound forward began his professional career with Alaska in 2008-09. He earned 14 points (nine goals, five assists) in 40 games with the Aces. Foreman recorded 16 points (seven goals, nine assists) in 2009-10 with Missouri of the Central Hockey League.

Burrows was acquired by the Gladiators on February 18th from the Chicago Express. In six games with the Gladiators, Burrows did not record a point. Burrows had 11 points (three goals, eight assists) in 43 games with the Express this season. He started his pro career last season with the Bakersfield Condors where he scored one goal in seven regular season games and added a goal and an assist in three playoff games.

The Prairie Grove, IL native joined the Condors after the end of his four-year college career at the University of Vermont. In 144 games as a Catamount, Burrows scored 17 goals and added 27 assists while playing both as a forward and defenseman.

The Gladiators are the ECHL Affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres and the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League and are members of the ECHL, the Premier "AA" Hockey League and play all home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
