HAMILTON, ON - Montreal Canadiens and Hamilton Bulldogs General Manager Pierre Gauthier announced today that defenceman Olivier Dame-Malka has been recalled to the Bulldogs from the ECHL's Wheeling Nailers.

Malka, 21, played in 9 games with the Bulldogs this season, posting one assist and 12 shots on goal. The 5-foot-10, 192-pound defenceman made his professional debut with the Bulldogs in the team's 5-2 season-opening victory over the Rochester Americans on Saturday, October 8th, 2011. In 36 games for the Wheeling Nailers this season, the native of Montreal, Quebec has registered 18 points (7 goal, 11 assists), 110 shots on goal, and 60 penalty minutes.

The Nailers will play at home for the first time in ten games on Friday, when they welcome the Florida Everblades to Cambria County War Memorial Arena for a 7:35 face-off.
