
LumberKings, Loons Postponed

Midland, MI - Unrelenting rain in the mid-Michigan area has forced the postponement of tonight's 6:05 PM game between the Clinton LumberKings (13-11) and the Great Lakes Loons (20-5). The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader slated for a 5:05 PM central time start tomorrow evening at Dow Diamond.
Both games will be seven-inning contests separated by a half-hour break. The LumberKings are expected to send right-hander Taylor Stanton (7-4, 3.91) to the mound in game one, with left-hander Jimmy Gillheeney (8-6, 2.73) getting the start in game two. The starters for the Loons are expected to be right-handers Matt Magill (4-2, 3.38) and Rubby de la Rosa (4-1, 3.19).
