
Lugnuts Star Kevin Smith Promoted to Dunedin

LANSING, Mich. - Lansing Lugnuts shortstop/third baseman Kevin Smith has been promoted to A-Advanced Dunedin with infielder Cullen Large reinstated from the 7-day Disabled List in a corresponding move.
Smith, 21, leads Minor League and Major League Baseball with 23 doubles, leads Minor League Baseball with 34 extra-base hits, and leads the Midwest League with 44 runs batted in, 65 hits, 117 total bases and a .639 slugging percentage. A native of East Greenbush, NY, Smith was drafted in the fourth round in 2017 out of the University of Maryland.
