The Snappers dropped game one of a three game set Saturday night against the Lansing Lugnuts 5-1 at Pohlman Field, with the loss the Snappers dropped to 45-45 for their overall record.
The Lugnut pitching staff managed to hold the Snappers to only one run as well as one hit while striking out 11 hitters.
The "Brodie Trophy Player of the Game" goes to Snappers reliever Andrey Lobanov who pitched one inning while striking out the side.
The Snappers will send right hander Michael Tonkin (2-6) to the mound game time is 2:00PM as the 96.7 The Eagle presents the Aaron Hicks bobblehead giveaway. The first 500 fans through the gate will receive an Aaron Hicks bobblehead, gates open at 1:00PM.
