
Dragons Announce Roster Changes

Dayton Dragons News Release
Dayton, Ohio-The Dayton Dragons announced the following roster moves today:
First baseman Chris Richburg has been promoted to Lynchburg, the Reds Advanced Single-A affiliate in the Carolina League.
First baseman Jonathan Kaskow has been promoted to Dayton from Billings, the Reds Rookie-level affiliate in the Pioneer League.
The Dragons roster remains at the Midwest League limit of 25 players.
Richburg appeared in 72 games with the Dragons and batted .251 with a team-leading 14 home runs and 51 runs batted in.
Kaskow had appeared in 19 games with Billings, batting .323 with three doubles, one triple, three home runs, and 13 runs batted in. He was selected by the Reds in the 2010 June draft in the 41st round out of Stanford University. At Stanford as a junior this spring, Kaskow was a PAC 10 Conference honorable mention selection, when he batted .328 with one home run and 28 RBI in 46 games. Kaskow is a native of the Dallas suburb of Coppell, Texas. As a high school senior in 2007, Kaskow was rated as the 67th best high school prospect in the nation by Baseball America after being selected as the Texas Player of the Year by the Texas High School Baseball Coaches' Association when he batted .513 for Coppell High School. Kaskow's father, Chris, played men's doubles tennis at Wimbledon in 1977 and played tennis at Oklahoma State University.
The Dragons play at Burlington this afternoon at 3:00 p.m. (EDT) (1410 WING; www.daytondragons.com). They return home Wednesday to host Cedar Rapids at Fifth Third Field at 7:00 p.m.
