Lansing Lugnuts News Release
LANSING - The Lansing Lugnuts have announced that Friday night's series finale against the Cedar Rapids Kernels at Oldsmobile Park will be pushed back by 30 minutes to 7:35 p.m. The game is being moved in order to ensure a great night not only for fans attending the game, but also those who will be at the Common Ground Festival that night as well. "We are moving the game time back 30 minutes to better coordinate our LAFCU fireworks show with the conclusion of Common Ground," Lugnuts General Manager Pat Day said. "We are proud to be a partner with the City of Lansing and are working with them to ensure a wonderful evening for participants of both the Lansing Lugnuts game and Common Ground."
Friday's game is a Christian Family Night with LAFCU Fireworks to follow the contest. Many pastors and church members are scheduled to participate in several pre-game activities. Those people are now asked to report to Guest Services inside Oldsmobile Park at 6:30 p.m. If any groups have questions about the schedule changes, they are requested to contact their sales representative at (517) 485-4500.
Gates will still open at 5:50 p.m. for the game Friday night.
