LANSING, Mich. - In conjunction with the Toronto Blue Jays, the Lansing Lugnuts have activated star first baseman Matt Dean from the 7-day Disabled List and placed pitcher Seth Conner on the 7-day Disabled List retroactive to May 31st.

Dean, 21, had been placed on the DL on May 12th after straining his oblique. He had been batting .312 in 33 games at the time, with nine doubles, two homers and 15 RBIs. This is the Dallas, TX, native's first year in the Midwest League, following a 2013 campaign in which he won the Appalachian League batting title.

Lansing is currently on the road, playing the opener in a three-game series tonight at 7:00 p.m. against the Dayton Dragons. The Lugnuts return home to Cooley Law School Stadium on a Hump Day Wednesday, June 4th, starring Humphrey the Camel and featuring Happy Hour with half-off drinks from 7-8 p.m. That game opens a six-game homestand against South Bend and Great Lakes stretching through June 9th. Tickets are available for purchase via the stadium box office, telephone at 517-485-4500 and online at lansinglugnuts.com . To sign up for Lugnuts Alerts, text LUGNUTS to 80373.
