
Lucky Third Brings Game Three Win

After losing the first two games of their series with the Smokies, the Looks put together a three run third inning of offense and pitched their way to a 3-0 victory last night in Kodak. The third inning began with back to back to back singles from Jordan Gore,Tanner English and Zander Wiel. English would drive in the first run and Wiel the second. With two on, Chris Paul connected for an RBI single as well and a three run lead was born. Pitching from Wiiliams Rameriez to start the game, retiring all six he faced, to Sean Poppens three hit with five shutout innings to get the win. The bullpen worked two innings of shutout with Tyler Jay paving the way for a Cody Stashak save. LHP-Dennis Ennis looks for his first win of the season Tuesday in game four and faces RHP-Matt Swarmer . Catch the game at MiLB.com and on 96.1 FM at 6:45 for all the action.
