TONIGHT'S GAME: Louisville looks to avoid a series loss after dropping the first 2 games of the four-game series against Columbus. Last night, the Bats led 3-2 and 5-4 before ultimately losing by a 9-5 score after Eric Haase hit a go-ahead grand slam for the Clippers off Bats All-Star closer Kevin Quackenbush . Tonight, Louisville turns to left-hander Justin Nicolino , who tossed 5.0 scoreless innings in his last start before the All-Star break.

Tonight and tomorrow night will be the final 2 matchups between these teams at LSF this season. Williams went 1-for-5, while Dixon had a huge game, going 2-for-4 with 2 runs, one double, one home run, with an RBI and a walk. His fifth inning home run gave the Bats a 5-4 lead and was his first in a Louisville uniform since May 20 at Norfolk in game 2 of a doubleheader.

REHAB STATS: Right-hander Homer Bailey , who last night made his sixth rehab appearance (fifth start) with Louisville this season (6/11, 23, 28, 7/3, 8, 13) is the fifth MLB rehabber to pitch for the Bats in 2018, along with RHP Anthony DeSclafani (5/25, 30), LHP Brandon Finnegan (4/9) and RHPs David Hernandez (4/20, 23, 25) and Kevin Shackelford (4/22), who have now combined for 13 rehab outings for Louisville this season. Rehabbers have compiled an 6.84 ERA, with 38 earned runs in 50.0 innings on the mound. The Bats are 4-9 as a club when a pitcher makes a rehab outing.
