Louisville Bats, Louisville Slugger Field in Elite 8 Round in "Best of the Ballparks"

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Louisville Bats' home ballpark, Louisville Slugger Field, advanced to the Elite Eight round in Ballpark Digest's "Best of the Ballparks 2018: Triple-A" by most recently defeating Omaha's Werner Park after eliminating Pawtucket's McCoy Stadium in the first round.

Louisville Slugger Field is currently matched up against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders' PNC Field. With the field narrowed from 30 to 8, the Bats and Louisville Slugger Field look to advance to the Final Four of the 2018 Best of the Ballparks' fan vote for Triple-A facilities, encompassing the ballparks of the International League and the Pacific Coast League.

Louisville Slugger Field won the tournament in 2016, edging out the Indianapolis Indians' Victory Field for the "Best Ballpark in Triple-A Baseball" crown.

First Round: Completed

Second Round: Completed

Elite Eight: Now - June 27, 3 p.m. ET

Final Four: June 27, 3 p.m. ET - July 1, 3 p.m. ET

Finals: July 1, 3 p.m. ET - July 6, 5 p.m. ET
