
Louisville Bats Homestand Highlights: May 26 - June 4, 2012

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Louisville Bats will begin their third homestand of the 2012 season Saturday, May 26 at 6:05 p.m. at Louisville Slugger Field against the Indianapolis Indians, Triple-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Bats will play two against the Indians before welcoming the Syracuse Chiefs and Durham Bulls to Louisville Slugger Field for four games apiece. The Chiefs and Bulls are the Triple-A affiliates of the Washington Nationals and Tampa Bay Rays, respectively.
The Memorial Day game on Monday, May 28 will serve as the Bats' Military Appreciation Day. All military personnel, active and discharged, and their immediate family members showing proper military ID will be granted a free field reserved ticket to the game.
An appearance by Breakin' BBoy McCoy on Saturday highlights the 10-game homestand's first weekend, followed by Memorial Day Eve Fireworks on Sunday, May 27 and Military Appreciation Day. There will be a Budweiser Game Time Happy Hour on Thursday, May 31 beginning at 6 p.m.
The homestand's second weekend features an appearance by The Anton Brothers on Saturday, June 2; an appearance by Jake the Diamond Dog on Sunday, June 3 and our final Dog Day on Monday, June 4.
