Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (27-18) start an eight-game* South Division road trip with a pair of games against the second-place Charlotte Knights (24-22) at Knights Stadium... The first game is a continuation of a suspended game from May 4; the second will be a seven-inning affair... With a 2-0 win over Louisville on Tuesday, the Pigs won the final two games of the series to split with the Bats, 2-2. The Pigs finished 6-2 on the West Division homestand and have now won seven of their of their last nine games and gone 10-3 in their last 13 contests... The Knights -- the White Sox top affiliate -- won 5-2 on Tuesday to split a four-game series at Durham and finish with a winning road trip (5-3) after taking a series at Norfolk, 3-1. The steady Knights have never been more than three games above .500 or more than three games below .500 this season...
In the completion of Game One, LHP Tom Cochran (2-1, 5.18) will "start" for LHV against TBA for CHA.
In Game Tow, LHP Pat Misch (3-5, 5.35) will start for LHV against IL ERA leader, RHP Dylan Axelrod (3-1, 0.95).
First-Pitch tonight is scheduled for 6:15 p.m.

On May 4, the Pigs and Knights were suspended, 3-3, in the finale of their four-game series -- a game continued in "Game One"... The Pigs had trailed, 3-0, after the first three batters of the game -- culminating in a Dan Johnson 3-R HR off LHP Pat Misch. But the Pigs tied the game with a 2-R double by OF Derrick Mitchell in the 2nd and a solo-HR by INF Mike Fontenot in the 3rd.
* The Knights had a runner on 2nd with 2-outs for 1B Dan Johnson, who was batting with a 3-1 count.
WITH A WIN IN GAME ONE, THE PIGS WILL...:
* Set a new season-best, high-water mark of 10.0 games above .500 (first time since finishing 2011 at 80-64).
WITH A WIN IN GAME TWO, THE PIGS WILL...:
* Have a three-game winning streak... regardless of the outcome of Game One (which is considered a May 4 result).
