Lock Monsters Make Roster Moves

Lowell, MA - The Lowell Lock Monsters announced today that they have assigned goaltender Rob Zepp and forward Marty Johnston to the Florida Everblades (ECHL). In related roster moves, the Carolina Hurricanes assigned goaltender Jean Marc Pelletier and center Craig MacDonald to Lowell yesterday

Zepp (6-1, 190 lbs) posted a 4.62 GAA and earned a tie in one appearance with the Lock Monsters.

Johnston (5-8, 180 lbs) appeared in three games with the Lock Monsters, tallying no points and registering 2 PIM's.

Pelletier, recalled by the Carolina Hurricanes on November 30th, did not appear in any games. MacDonald, recalled by the Hurricanes on November 22nd, appeared in nine games with the Hurricanes registering one assist and 6 PIM.

The Lock Monsters return to action on the road this weekend as they travel to Providence (Friday, December 20th - 7:05 pm), Bridgeport (Saturday, December 21st - 7:05 pm) and Binghamton (Sunday, December 22nd - 5:05 pm). All games can be heard on WCAP AM 980 and on the internet at www.lockmonsters.com. Lowell returns home to face the Manchester Monarchs on December 27th at 7:00 pm, with a special visit from Nickelodeon's SpongeBob SquarePants.
