Lions release Dennis Mitchell

(Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club announced today that import defensive back Dennis Mitchell has been released.
Mitchell appeared in four games for the Lions recording 18 tackles and four special teams stops.
The next Lions home game is Friday, August 31st versus the Montreal Alouettes at 7:30 pm at BC Place presented by Save-on-Foods. The first 4,000 kids aged 12 and under through the gates will receive a complimentary zipper binder - for tickets call 604-589-ROAR.
