
Anthony Calvillo And Alain Kashama Named Players Of The Week

Montreal - Quarterback Anthony Calvillo and defensive end Alain Kashama have been named CFL Players of the Week today, following the Alouettes' 27-9 win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats last week at Percival Molson Stadium.
Calvillo was named the league's top offensive player for the second time this season, completing 30 of 44 passes for 354 yards and a touchdown. He currently leads the CFL with a 71.1 per cent completion rate and ranks in the top three of nearly every other major category.
Kashama was named the CFL's Canadian Player of the Week with two tackles a one sack, helping Montreal win its fourth straight game. This is the first time Kashama has earned this honour. He has 12 tackles and three sacks so far this season.
Alouettes Dave Mudge and Etienne Boulay earned honourable mentions for Canadian Player of the Week. Damon Duval was a runner up in the special teams category.
