NASHVILLE - Nashville SC unveiled its matchday squad and Starting XI before its Saturday night match against Charleston Battery kicking off at 7 p.m. CT at First Tennessee Park.
The Starting XI includes:
Keeper: Matt Pickens
Defenders: Justin Davis, Ken Tribbett, Jimmy Ockford, Bradley Bourgeois, Darnell King
Midfielders: Matt LaGrassa, Bolu Akinyode and Lebo Moloto
Forwards: Cameron Lancaster and Ropapa Mensah
The bench will include keepers Connor Sparrow and Danny Vitiello, defenders Kosuke Kimura and Taylor Washington and forwards Tucker Hume, Alan Winn and Kharlton Belmar
A few notes about the Starting XI:
Keeper
Matt Pickens returns to the lineup to make his 17th start of the season
Defense
Jimmy Ockford makes his eighth start since joining Nashville SC on loan from MLS' San Jose Earthquakes
Ken Tribbett makes his 18th start of the season and his first in a defensive role since June 9. He will serve as captain
Bradley Bourgeois returns to the lineup in his first start since July 6
Justin Davis returns to the lineup to make his 16th start of the season
Darnell King makes his 12th start of the season
Midfield
Bolu Akinyode makes his 16th start of the season
Lebo Moloto makes his 23rd start of the season
Matt LaGrassa returns to the lineup to make his 20th start of the season
Forward
Cameron Lancaster returns to the lineup to make his sixth start of the season
Ropapa Mensah makes his eighth start of the season
