
Lineup Leads the Way in Day Game Win

Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
(Allentown, PA) - The Lehigh Valley IronPigs (55-45) registered 14 hits and scored 13 runs in their 13-6 win over the Syracuse Mets (45-55) on Tuesday afternoon. Donny Sands and Johan Camargo each had three RBI, with Camargo and Rafael Marchan each recording three hits.
Syracuse took a 1-0 lead against Ofreidy Gomez in the top of the first inning when Kramer Robertson scored on a passed ball. The IronPigs answered with two runs against Mike Montgomery (1-8) in the bottom of the first inning as Camargo hit an RBI double that scored Dalton Guthrie and Sands scoring on a passed ball.
Lehigh Valley extended their lead to 8-1 in the bottom of the fourth inning against Mets relief pitcher Tim Adleman. Jean Segura and Guthrie each hit RBI singles. Sands followed with a two-run single, and Camargo hit a sacrifice fly. Nick Maton added the final run of the inning with an RBI double. The IronPigs then took a 9-1 lead in the bottom of the fifth inning as Marchan hit an RBI single against Adonis Medina that scored Chris Sharpe.
The IronPigs added four runs against Yennsy Diaz in the bottom of the eighth inning to take a 13-1 lead. Syracuse proceeded to score five runs against Zach Warren in the top of the ninth inning to cut Lehigh Valley's lead to 13-6. Jonathan Hennigan struck out Khalil Lee to end the game.
Bubby Rossman (1-1) earned his first AAA win by pitching 1 2/3 scoreless innings in relief of Gomez. Rossman recorded three strikeouts in his outing.
The IronPigs and Mets continue their series on Wednesday evening at Coca-Cola Park. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
