Lindsey Earns PCL Batter Of The Week Honors

Albuquerque Isotopes infielder John Lindsey has been named the Pacific Coast League's Batter of the Week for the first week of the season after batting .538 (12-for-39) in 10 games.

Lindsey came out of the gate hot and didn't let up, racking up 10 hits in his first 17 at-bats. On April 14 against New Orleans, the infielder collected four hits, including a team-record-tying three doubles while scoring four times and driving in three more. Lindsey collected a hit in each of his first eight games and in nine of 10, while collecting multiple hits in seven of those contests.

Albuquerque hits the road starting Tuesday for an eight game road trip to New Orleans and Omaha before returning home for a four-game set against Round Rock on April 29.
