Sioux City Musketeers News Release
The Musketeers took a penalty less than a minute into their Friday night contest against the Lincoln Stars. The Stars Power Play capitalized on the opportunity and never looked back, rolling to a 7-0 win. Team scoring leader, Ludvig Hoff, rattled off 3 goals in the Lincoln win.
The Musketeers return to home ice on Sunday, January 31st against Waterloo. It will be the second and final time that the two teams play in Sioux City before taking the 4 game season series to Waterloo later in the season. Sioux City won the first game with The Black Hawks back on Sunday, October 18th in a high scoring 7-5 affair.
Fans who attend the game will be given coupons for a free order of Chicken Fries at game night sponsor, Burger King. Fans are also invited to stick around after the Sunday afternoon game to skate with the team immediately following the game. Skating is free for those who bring their own skates. Skates are available for rental for $3.00 per person for those who do not have their own skates.
