The first-place IronPigs (70-46) play the opener of a three-game series against the Louisville Bats (51-62) at Louisville Slugger Field... With a 3-1 loss last night in Indianapolis, the Pigs were swept in the three-game series against the West-leading Indians and have tied a season high with their current three-game losing streak. Still, Lehigh Valley has won 13 of its last 20 affairs and owns a 41-21 record since June 3 -- going from 0.5 games back to 9.0 games ahead. The Pigs' Magic Number to clinch the North Division remains 15... The Bats -- Cincinnati's top affiliate -- lost 6-2 to Pawtucket last night in the rubber match of a three-game, home series. The Bats have now dropped four of their last five games; but, over a longer stretch, own an impressive 16-7 record since falling to a season low-water mark at 35-55 on July 16.

LHP Ranger Suarez (2-0, 3.12) will start for LHV against RHP Lucas Sims (4-3, 2.77).

First-Pitch is at 7:00 p.m.
