Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (60-54) vs. Durham Bulls (63-50)
LHP Nestor Cortes (5-5, 3.72) vs. RHP Chih-Wei Hu (3-7, 4.83)
After dropping three of four against the Columbus Clippers to begin the seven-game six-day homestand, the Durham Bulls send Chih-Wei Hu to the mound for the opener of a three-game series against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders.
Nestor Cortes is scheduled to get the ball for the RailRiders in a matchup of perennial powers in the International League and a rematch of last season's Governors' Cup Championship Series. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre is 9.0 games back of Lehigh Valley in the North Division and locked in a three-way tie for the Wild Card spot with Norfolk and Columbus.
The Bulls hold a 3.5-game lead over the Norfolk Tides (60-54) for first place in the South Division.
