Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
In a battle of teams with identical records, the IronPigs (25-22) play Game 2 a three-game series against the second-place Louisville Bats (25-22) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 6-4 loss in 11 innings last night, the Pigs have now dropped four of their last six games and have started 0-1 on this six-game homestand. Still, the Pigs remain 10-5 overall since May 12... The Bats -- Cincinnati's top affiliate -- have won four of their last five contests after a season-high, four-game losing streak May 18-20. They've also improved to 16-9 on the road this season. Still, after starting 19-12, they've gone just 5-10 since May 11.
LHP James Russell (1-0, 0.68) will start for LHV against RHP Keyvius Sampson (1-1, 2.66).
Tonight features postgame fireworks, presented by Giant Food Stores. First-Pitch is at 6:35 p.m.
