Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release


The IronPigs (3-5) play the finale of a two-game series against the Rochester Red Wings (4-5) at Coca-Cola Park. With an 8-5 win last night, the Pigs snapped a three-game losing streak and have started 1-2 on this six-game, North Division homestand... The Red Wings -- Minnesota's top affiliate -- are now 1-3 against the Pigs and 4-2 against the rest of the North Division. Previously, they split a two-game series at Buffalo. Earlier this week, the IronPigs took a three-game series against the Wings, 2-1, at Frontier Field... The Pigs' homestand will wrap up with a pair of games against the Syracuse Chiefs.

RHP Zach Eflin (1-0, 1.50) will start for LHV against LHP Logan Darnell (0-1, 10.80) in a rematch of a Pigs' 6-1 win on 4/12 @ ROC-G1.

Today is IronPigs Kickball Giveaway Day, presented by Adams Outdoor Advertising... First-Pitch is at 1:35 p.m.
