Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (2-5) play Game 1 of a two-game series against the Rochester Red Wings (4-4) at Coca-Cola Park. With a 6-5 loss to Pawtucket last night, the Pigs have dropped a season-high three games in a row and have started 0-2 on this six-game, North Division homestand... The Red Wings -- Minnesota's top affiliate -- won 2-1 at Buffalo last night to split a two-game set with the Bisons. Earlier this week, the IronPigs took a three-game series against the Wings, 2-1, at Frontier Field... The homestand will wrap up with a pair of games against the Syracuse Chiefs.
RHP Reinier Roibal (0-0, 6.75) will make his first career Triple-A start against top pitching prospect RHP Jose Berrios (1-0, 1.80).
Tonight is IronPigs Knit Cap Giveaway Night, presented by Broadcom... First-Pitch is at 6:35 p.m.
