Lewis Jr. Drops 32, Hits Game-Winner as Birmingham Tops Osceola 122-119

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - A day after being assigned to the Squadron by the New Orleans Pelicans, guard Kira Lewis Jr. scored 32 points, including a game-winning three pointer with three seconds remaining to give Birmingham a 122-119 victory over the Osceola Magic at Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, Fla. Friday night.

Lewis Jr. also tallied eight rebounds and seven assists on the night. Landers Nolley II was the second Squadron player to hit the 30-point mark and the Cincinnati product added seven rebounds as Birmingham (8-6) defeated Osceola (7-5) for the second time in three days.

Trey Jemison was two boards away from his fourth double-double of the season as the league's second-leading rebounder (11.2 RPG) hauled in eight rebounds to go along with 10 points.

D.J. Wilson led the way for Osceola with 32 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Mac McClung added 30 points to go along with seven rebounds and six dimes.

The Squadron now await their next opponent and game date as the NBA G League Winter Showcase tips off next week in Orlando, Fla.
