Raptors 905 (2-12), the NBA G League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors dropped the second of two matches to the Delaware Blue Coats (8-5) 122-104 Thursday evening. Mouhamadou Gueye led the 905 with 20 points, nine rebounds, six blocks, two assists, and two steals. Javonte Smart exploded for a career-high 40 points, including a career-high 10 made threes, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals for the Blue Coats.

The two teams exchanged baskets in the opening 12 minutes, with the 905 taking a six-point lead going into the second. Delaware opened the second quarter strong on a 12-4 run before the 905 responded with their own 18-10 run. A balanced scoring effort allowed the home side to regain the lead going into the break, as they ended the half with a six-point advantage.

A nearly even third quarter allowed the 905 to enter the final frame up by five. The Blue Coats showed no signs of slowing down as they outscored the 905 39-29 in the quarter behind, sealing their victory in Mississauga.

Justise Winslow provided complimentary scoring for the 905 putting up a season-high 23 points, nine rebounds, three assists, a steal, and a block. Darius Bazley paced the Blue Coats with a 26-point, 14-rebound performance, adding two blocks, and two steals to the stat sheet.

The Blue Coats close out the showcase cup portion of the season in Long Island, taking on the Nets Saturday at 6:00 pm. The 905 travel to Orlando, Florida for the NBA G League Winter Showcase from Dec. 18-22. Schedule to be released at a later date.
