Sioux Falls Drops Final Showcase Cup Game 117-99

Hoffman Estates, IL - The Sioux Falls Skyforce lost their final Showcase Cup game 117-99 to the Windy City Bulls on Friday evening from NOW Arena to wrap up Showcase Cup play.

The loss eliminates the Skyforce (8-6) from the Showcase Cup Championship Tournament.

Alondes Williams led Sioux Falls with 23 points on 9-16 FGA, seven assists and five rebounds. Justin Champagnie added 18 points on 8-19 FGA, 11 rebounds, six assists and four steals.

Windy City (8-5) took a 59-55 lead at intermission and outscored Sioux Falls by 14 points in the second half to secure the victory.

HEAT assignee Nikola Jovic had 16 points, nine rebounds and three assists, while Caleb Daniels added 16 points, five rebounds and five assists.

Max Heidegger led the Bulls with 30 points on 8-13 3PA off the bench, while Chicago two-way player Adama Sanogo had 26 points and 12 rebounds.

The Skyforce travels to Orlando, FL next week to compete in the 2023 NBA G League Winter Showcase. Opponents and times will be announced later.
