Leroy Hunt Placed on Disabled List

WINSTON-SALEM, NC (JUNE 10, 2010) - The Winston-Salem Dash today placed relief pitcher Leroy Hunt on the seven-day disabled list, retroactive to June 8. There is no corresponding roster move at this time.

Hunt last pitched on Monday night, when he suffered the loss after allowing an unearned run in the ninth inning in the Dash's 4-3 loss to the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. He is 0-3 with a 6.89 ERA this season.

This is Hunt's second trip to the D.L. this season. He was on the disabled list from April 16 - 27 with a minor shoulder injury.

Winston-Salem's roster stands at 24 players, one below the Carolina League limit.

The Dash starts a seven-game home stand tonight with a series against the Wilmington Blue Rocks. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m. at BB&T Ballpark.
