The K-Tribe begins a four game homestand tonight at Historic Grainger Stadium.

Skid Stopped - The K-Tribe beat Wilmington 3-1 last night to end a six-game losing streak. Joe Gardner threw 6 2/3 strong innings for the win, giving up just one run on four hits and striking out eight. Ronald Rivas and Lucas Montero each had RBI singles for Kinston, who trailed 1-0 after the first inning. The losing streak was the second six-game slide for the Indians, who have also had a five-game losing streak. Kinston scored just 14 runs over those six games.

There's No Place Like Home - The K-Tribe returns to Grainger Stadium where they are 18-11 this season and have won 12 of their last 15. Kinston is just 12-19 away from home and was 1-6 on their recent road trip to Winston-Salem and Wilmington.
