Adirondack Phantoms News Release
The Philadelphia Flyers announced today that they have recalled G Michael Leighton from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Adirondack Phantoms, according to general manager Paul Holmgren. In addition, the Flyers have loaned C Ben Holmstrom to the Phantoms while D Marc-Andre Bourdon has been returned from loan with the Greenville Road Warriors of the ECHL.
Leighton, 29 (5-19-81), was 14-12-1 with a 2.22 GAA and a .926 save percentage in 30 games for the Phantoms this season. He posted five shutouts, including his last two consecutive appearances. In one game for the Flyers this season, Leighton is 1-0-0 with a 4.00 GAA and a .889 save percentage.

This was Ben Holmstrom's second call-up to the NHL this season. He made his NHL debut on March 3 against the Toronto Maple Leafs. He recorded a game-high five hits and was 3-for-10 on face-offs in 8:06 of ice time.
In 75 games with Adirondack this season, Holmstrom recorded 16 goals and 21 assists for 37 points. He is the only player on Adirondack's roster to have appeared in every game. That streak ended on Monday night.
Bourdon returns after playing in Game 1 of their Best of 5 series against the Jackals on Tuesday night. Greenville defeated Elmira 5-2 in Elmira, NY taking a 1-0 lead in the series. With the Road Warriors, Bourdon recorded two assists in five games during the regular season.
This season with Adirondack, Bourdon has recorded a goal and 10 points in 45 games.
Adirondack signed G Ryan Rondeau to an Amateur Tryout agreement (ATO). He will wear No.1 tonight against the Albany Devils.
Rondeau recently completed a four-year career at Yale University. This season with the Bulldogs, he went 27-6-1 with a 1.92 GAA and .928 save percentage. He received the Paul Hines Award as the "Most Improved Player." Rondeau was second-team All-Ivy this winter before being named the "Most Outstanding Player" at the 2011 ECAC Hockey Tournament Championship Weekend.
