Tickets Available Now for Monsters First-Ever Playoff Appearance

The Lake Erie Monsters have clinched the first-ever playoff spot in the four-year history of the franchise. While the dates and opponents of the 2011 AHL Calder Cup Playoffs have not been determined yet, fans can begin purchasing tickets now to games that will be held at Quicken Loans Arena.

The best way to guarantee the best seat locations for the 2011 Playoffs is by joining the Monsters ticket family for the 2011-12 season. 2011-12 season ticket holders will receive their tickets for the First Round of the 2011 Playoffs for FREE. They will also immediately begin enjoying all the added value benefits of being a Monsters season ticket holder.

There are three other great ways for fans to get tickets to see Cleveland Playoff Hockey at The Q.

OPTION ONE: With the Monsters Playoff Pack, fans have the opportunity to guarantee the same great seat for every home Playoff game. Deferred payments allow you to pay after each round is played. Glass and premium seats are available. As an added bonus, fans that purchase the Monsters Playoff Pack will receive four free First Round tickets AND four free tickets for the 2011-12 season. In addition, by making a $50 initial payment toward a 2011-12 ticket plan, fans will receive free parking for the Playoffs.

OPTION TWO: The Monsters Playoff Pick It Plan gives fans the ultimate flexibility by choosing which Playoff games they want to attend. By purchasing vouchers in packs of 10, 20 or 30, fans will have the choice of using these vouchers for any home Playoff game, regardless of round, and any unused vouchers can be used as a credit for 2011-12 ticket packages. Packages start at just $80 and are available in any of our lower level price classes (Glass Seats and 1st Row Club Seats excluded). Plus, fans will receive free First Round tickets as an added bonus when purchasing the Pick It Plan.

OPTION THREE: Single game tickets for the 2011 Playoffs will go on sale Saturday, April 9th at 10:00 a.m. Becoming a Monsters Insider or following the Monsters on Facebook or Twitter will give fans the first chance to purchase single game tickets before the general public. All Monsters Insiders, subscribers to the team's free e-newsletter (LakeErieMonsters.com/insider), fans on Facebook (/lakeeriemonsters) and followers on Twitter (@monstershockey) will be able to participate in an exclusive presale before tickets go on sale to the general public.

Beginning Saturday, single game tickets will be available to the general public by calling 216-420-0000, visiting LakeErieMonsters.com, the Quicken Loans Arena Box Office or any Northern Ohio Discount Drug Mart.
