Admirals Set First Two Playoff Dates
April 6, 2011 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Milwaukee Admirals News Release
Milwaukee, WI- Milwaukee Admirals President Jon Greenberg announced the team will host their first two home playoff games on Thursday, April 14 at 7:00 pm and Saturday, April 16 at 7:00 pm. Their opponent in the first round of the Calder Cup Playoffs is yet to be determined.
The Admirals were able to set these dates following the Texas Stars loss Wednesday night which ensured Milwaukee could finish no lower than second in the West Division standings. If the Ads secure a point in one of their final three games or if the Houston Aeros lose on Sunday afternoon they the Admirals will claim their fourth division title in the past eight years.
Tickets for the first two games are currently on sale and are priced less than regular season tickets again this year. Seats in the Admirals Quarters (all seats on the glass) will run $18, tickets are $15 for Mid-Deck seats (sections 225-203 and 211-217), $12 for Stern seats (sections 204-210), and $10 for Bow (sections 218-224), handicap platform, and child seats. In addition, groups of ten or more still get a minimum of $2 off each ticket.
The Admirals also have playoff packages on sale that include the same seat to each of the Admirals 16 potential post-season home games. Packages are $244 per seat for tickets in the Bow, $264 per seat for tickets in the Stern, $300 for seats in the Mid-Deck, and $372 for seats in the Admirals Quarters.
Fans can purchase individual tickets by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000 or logging on to milwaukeeadmirals.com, while fans looking for playoff packages, group tickets or more information should call the Admirals office at (414) 227-0550.
