FRISCO, TX - The Texas Legends have acquired two 2022 NBA G League Draft picks in a trade with Santa Cruz in exchange for guard JaQuori McLaughlin.

McLaughlin (6-4, 190, UC Santa Barbara) was a two-way player for the Legends and Mavericks this season. He saw action in 4 games in the preseason for Dallas and 4 regular season matches along with 12 games (12 starts) for the Legends. The Washington native was averaging 13.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 1.2 steals in 31.6 minutes per game with Texas.

Texas will receive a 1st and 2nd round pick (both via Windy City) from the Warriors.
