
Legends-Suns Game Suspended; to be Completed Monday

(WHITAKER BANK BALLPARK, Lexington, Ky.) Play between the Lexington Legends and the Hagerstown Suns was suspended in the middle of the fourth inning Sunday afternoon due to rain with the Legends holding an 8-1 lead. The game will resume at that point Monday at 5:05 p.m. Following completion of the suspended game and a 30-minute break, Monday's regularly scheduled game will be played. It will be a seven-inning game.
The Legends scored six runs in the first inning Sunday, highlighted by a two-run double by Jose Fernandez and a two-run single by Ryan McCurdy. They added two runs in the third inning on RBI singles by Ruben Sosa and Nolan Fontana. Hagerstown's only run came when Brian Goodwin led off the game with a home run.
