Lexington Legends News Release

Lexington Legends' outfielder Anderson Miller will be out for several weeks due to surgery to remove the hamate bone from his right wrist. The surgery will be done in Kansas City.

Miller has been placed on the disabled list and has been replaced on the Legends roster by outfielder Tanner Stanley. Miller is expected to return at or near the South Atlantic League All-Star break, which is June 20-22.

Miller, a graduate of Lafayette High School who played in college for Western Kentucky University, was chosen in the third round of the 2015 draft by the Kansas City Royals. He is the first Lexington native to play for the Legends.

After a rainout last night, the Legends play a doubleheader against the West Virginia Power at Whitaker Bank Ballpark. The first of two seven-inning games will start at 5:05 p.m.
