Lexington Legends News Release

The game between the Lexington Legends and the Bowling Green Hot Rods Thursday night was suspended due to heavy rain and thunderstorms in Bowling Green. The Legends had scored one run in the top of the first inning to take a 1-0 lead, but play was stopped in the middle of the first inning as the Hot Rods were coming to bat. After a delay of about an hour, the game was suspended.

The game will be played as part of a doubleheader Friday night. It will resume at 6:05 p.m. Eastern time Friday night with Bowling Green coming to bat in the bottom of the first inning, and will be a nine-inning game. The second game will be a seven-inning game.
