
Tourists Continue Winning Ways

Asheville Tourists News Release
(Greenville, SC) The Tourists extended their winning streak to a season high four consecutive games with a 5-1 victory over Greenville on Thursday night. Ethan Hollingsworth picked up his fourth win of the season with six solid innings and the bullpen kept the Drive scoreless in the final three innings for the win. Scott Robinson provided the offense scoring twice and hitting his third homerun of the season.
Hollngsworth (4-4) struck out six and allowed one run on three hits in the win. Stephen Dodson followed with two scoreless innings of relief and Kurt Yakco pitched a carefree ninth. Asheville (24-36) opened up a 1-0 lead with Scott Robinson's third homerun of the season. Robinson scored again in the sixth inning making the score 2-1 on a Jimmy Cesario single.
The Tourists put up three runs in the 9th inning on two walks, an error and a RBI single from Tyler Massey to extend the lead to 5-1. Asheville will look to keep it going wrapping up the road trip on Friday with Jonathan Aristil on the mound at 7:05 for Greenville.
