Lexington Legends News Release
The Lexington Legends will be at home through Sunday, and the fun will include two fireworks shows, a Thirsty Thursday, money-saving promotions and more. The Legends also will recognize Special Olympics athletes and the U.S. Armed Services with special nights.
In addition, the Legends will feature the annual "Media Mogul Madness." At each game throughout the homestand, local media personalities will take a turn as the guest public address announcer.
The Legends, who have won 12 of their last 14 games, will play Augusta Wednesday and Thursday nights. The Hagerstown Suns, currently in first place in the Northern Division, will follow for games Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Legends, though in fifth place, trail first-place Rome by only two games in the Southern Division standings. Game time each night is 7:05 p.m., except for the Sunday game, which begins at 1:35 p.m.
"As always, there will be a lot going at the ballpark - lots of ways to have fun and save some money," said Legends General Manager Seth Poteat. "And Military Appreciation Night is very meaningful to all of us. On top of that, the Legends are playing great baseball!"
