Legends Acquire Returning Player Rights, Draft Pick in Trade with Bakersfield

FRISCO, TX (Oct. 30, 2015)--The Texas Legends announced today that they have acquired the returning player rights to Jamil Wilson as well as Bakersfield's 2015 5th round draft pick in a trade with the Bakersfield Jam. In turn, Texas sends the returning player rights to Jarrid Famous and its own 2nd round pick in the 2015 NBA D-League Draft.
Wilson (6-7, 230, Marquette) spent last season with the Bakersfield Jam where he averaged 10.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 41 games. Wilson has joined the Washington Wizards at NBA Summer League the past two summers averaging 7.1 points, 3.2 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 18.2 minutes of play.
The 2015 NBA D-League Draft is set for Saturday, Oct. 31 at 1 pm (CST). Fans can follow the NBA D-League Draft on nba.com/dleague or join the Legends live draft party at Strikz Entertainment (8789 Lebanon Road, Frisco, TX 75034) beginning at 1pm.
