Drive Completes Trade with Red Claws

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH - The Grand Rapids Drive, NBA D-League affiliate of the Detroit Pistons, announced Friday that the team has completed a trade with the Maine Red Claws, NBA D-League affiliate of the Boston Celtics.

The terms of the trade are the Grand Rapids Drive sends Grand Rapids own original 2016 2nd round pick and the returning player rights to Manny Atkins to the Maine Red Claws in exchange for the returning player rights to Asauhn Dixon-Tatum.

Dixon-Tatum, 24, is a 7-foot, 225-pound, center from Auburn who played his 2014-15 season with the Maine Red Claws averaging 5.0 points, 1.2 blocks, and 3.4 total rebounds in 31 games played. Dixon-Tatum will join the 17-man training camp roster for the 2015-16 season, pending a physical.
