Idaho Stampede Announce Preseason Schedule

BOISE, ID (Oct. 30, 2015) - The Stampede and the Utah Jazz are pleased to retain head coach Dean Cooper for a second season, along with members of his staff from last season, assistant coach Travis Walton, Director of Basketball Operations / Video Coordinator Hans Steinbrenner, and athletic trainer/strength coach Brady Howe. Jordan Brady joined Coach Cooper's staff in August, replacing Andrae Patterson, who joined the Jazz front office as player personnel/player programs coordinator in July.
The Stampede will tip-off training camp at the YMCA Homecourt, in Meridian, ID, on Monday, Nov. 2 and will run until the team leaves to face off against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers for their first regular season game on Nov. 13. Training camp will be open to media once the daily session concludes. You can find a training camp schedule below.
On November 7, the Stampede will have an inter-squad scrimmage at Centennial High School starting at 6:30 pm. Admission to the scrimmage will be $5, with the proceeds going towards a fundraiser for Centennial High School. Prior to the scrimmage Coach Cooper and his staff will be hosting a coaches clinic to help grow the local coaching community in Idaho.
The Stampede's all-access media day will take place on November 10 from 3 pm to 6 pm at Peppershock Studios.
